Penelope Playchute's Fifty Fantastic Fun-Filled Fabulous Birthday Surprises

	Although she masked her disappointment wonderfully well, what Penelope really wanted for her birthday was a quiet dinner in a prohibitively expensive restaurant with her boys. Nick suggested The Boot in Lapworth and very fine it was too.
Penelope was in her element enjoying the (almost) exclusive company of her boys.
	Lucy, as always, was the life and soul of the party while Nick clearly felt tired and emotional.
A quiet word with the staff resulted in Penelope's pudding coming appropriately attired along with a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday" by the entire restaurant.

It's been a great fifty years - here's to the next fifty!
