Pippa's puppies arrived on the evening of Tuesday 14 March/early hours of Wednesday 15 March. Ms Playchute performed the midwifery duties in her usual outstanding fashion. This photo shows the contented slugs at about three days old.
And although it's not that easy to tell the difference, this picture is of the same bloated slugs at about nine days old. They are easily twice the size but still, all they do is eat, slither around on their bellies and sleep.
