The Week of 13 July 1998
Occasionally, we shall be adding photographs to this page. They may or may not be of any interest to anyone and if you find yourself looking at them, you've only yourself to blame.
Someone, who shall remain nameless, suggested that last week's photos looked remarkably like postcards! If it weren't true, I would be mortally offended. So, just to show that we did indeed enjoy a fabulous weekend in Amsterdam with Mom and Dad, this week we provide the proof!
According to the tour guide on the canal barge, this house is only 1.5m wide. At least it's just about wide enough for a small double bed. The narrowest house in Amsterdam is, apparently, only one metre wide and a double bed is out of the question.
