Readers of the Byfield Weakly Newsletter will have followed with hardly any interest the saga of the progress of Penelope's Driveway. It is now finished and a glorious sight it is. Here, Alfred is busy playing in the sand.

As you can see, it's a fairly large area and Alfred regretted ever having taken on the job almost as soon as he had started. In spite of taking twice as long as everyone thought it would, it is certainly an improvement over Penelope's Duckboard Boulevard
