and the Golden Wedding Celebrations
By the Time We Got to Phoenix....

The Golden Wedding Celebrations (for us, at any rate)
started with our arrival at Phoenix Airport on the afternoon/evening of
Thursday 16 April. Sallie met each of our flights, gathered us all together
and shepherded us to the Dollar Rent-a-Van counter. It's very fortunate
someone was in charge.... |
| We then made our way (after several false turns and a
complete inability to either read a map or follow relatively simple instructions)
to Chuck and Barbara's in Scottsdale for the night. As always, their hospitality
was superb and the following morning we enjoyed an all too brief visit
with cousins John and Mary. |
