In August we finally had an opportunity to visit Prague in the Czech Republic which has been on our “to visit” list for ages. We were able to borrow an apartment of a friend and neighbour right in the Old Town and had a grand week with our very good friends, Sue and Stuart along with Ben and Donna who flew in from the States. Regrettably, Donna had to fly straight back to the States but Ben was able to spend a few more days with us in Byfield which is always a treat.
He even took us flying one afternoon! |

Pen’s folks, Beryl and Oz, returned from Australia in May from their annual migration and although their house was not quite ready for habitation following the devastation of last year’s floods, they were eventually reunited with it and Pen’s brother Jeremy has done a magnificent job on the renovations. |
