The Courtauld Institute of Art Gallery has one of the most important collections in Britain, including world-famous Old Master, Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings, and an outstanding prints and drawings collection featuring works by Michelangelo, Rembrandt, Cézanne and Turner. This, by Edòuard Manet, A Bar at the Folies-Bergère, is one of my favourite impressionist paintings. |

And this by Van Gogh, Self-Portrait with Bandaged Ear, was also there along with dozens and dozens of other great pieces by Monet, Cézanne, Degas (paintings and sculptures including a study for the Little Dancer which we saw in Phoenix at Easter), Picasso, and on and on and on and on. It was great. |
